Why blankets?

Blankets and linens are some of the most requested items of domestic violence shelters across the country. Blankets are a source of warmth for sure, but also comfort and security.

What is a critical wish list item?

A critical wish list item can be anything bedding and towels to toothbrushes and shampoo to cleaning supplies and kitchen items.

What percentage of my purchase is donated?

10% of each purchase is donated to to provide critical wish list items for their 2600+ shelters and programs across the country.

How do I get added to the wish list database?

If you are aware of a domestic violence program or shelter that is not in the Domestic Shelters database, simply send an email with the name and location of the program and we’ll look into adding it. If you are a program/shelter representative and you don’t see your organization listed, click here to add.

Where can I purchase a blanket?

Currently, we are selling through our online shop only. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram as we popup in cities around the country!

What is the recommended care?

Thread Talk blankets are extremely easy to care for. We recommend machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or iron.

What is the composition of your fabric?

Thread Talk blankets are made to never pill, fuzz, or cause static.

Confidence, Love, Serenity, and Wonder blankets are Okeo-Tex Certified and comprised of 85% cotton, 35% acrylic, and 7% polyester.

Hope, Nurturing Confidence, Nurturing Love, and Nurturing Serenity are 100% cotton certified by Global Organic Textile Standard.


Carrier and Rates

We use United States Postal Service (USPS) and UPS to deliver our orders. The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place the order. 

When will I receive my order?

All orders ship between 1-3 business days from the United States. Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking number.

What is your return and exchange policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact our team within 30 days of delivery for full return or exchange All returned items must be in original packaging, in unused condition.
